Bristy Sikder is a software Engineer at Rubrik, Inc. She has attended  Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She completed her O-level and A-level with a brilliant result from Chittagong Grammar School.

Bristy started her career in 2015  as a Practicum Engineering Intern in Google where she implemented functionality for translating text found in images in Google Translate Web using C++, Javascript, HTML and CSS. In 2016, she joined MIT as an Undergraduate Researcher. She was an Investment Associate Intern at Bridgewater Associates and Software Engineering Intern at Quora, YugaByte and DeepMind.

Bristy Sikder is the recipient of DE Shaw Discovery Fellowship. She won a Bronze Medal at Asian-Pacific Informatics Olympiad in 2013. She was the Runner Up in Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad in 2013. She participated in National Informatics Olympiad in 2013 and was declared as a Champion. She was a Bronze Medalist at International Olympiad in Informatics in 2012. She was the Academic Team Member of  Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad Committee.
